Two people in Austintown appeared to have the "midnight munchies" Monday night when a woman told police they had hard drugs back at their motel while on their way to go "grab some snacks."

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - Two people in Austintown appeared to have the "midnight munchies" Monday night when a woman told police they had hard drugs back at their motel while on their way to go "grab some snacks."
Police arrested Daisy Huston, 20, of Youngstown, for possession of crack, cocaine and heroin while she and a 56-year-old man were on their way to either Walmart and Taco Bell to "grab some snacks and then go back to the hotel and relax," according to a police report.
Police said the man was driving in the turning lane on Mahoning Avenue when he was pulled over just before 9:30 pm.
Officers said that while speaking with the driver, Huston said she was yelling at him to get in the correct lane so they would not get pulled over.
Officers searched the car and found a torn knotted bag under the driver's seat.
The officers asked if either of them possessed anything else and Huston said, "I don't want to lie to you, but I don't have any drugs on me, we left them at the room," according to the report.
The man told police he wasn't aware of any drugs in the room, police said.
When police asked what was in the motel room, Huston said, "I have some crack, and maybe a little coke."
Police said when Huston exited the police cruiser, she dropped something from her left hand, coughed and stepped on it.
They said it turned out to be a bindle of heroin.
Once back at the motel, police discovered one bag and one bindle of cocaine, a syringe, a burnt spoon containing heroin residue and several pills.
Huston was booked into Mahoning County Jail and is charged with possession of drugs, drug abuse, selling, purchasing distributing or delivering dangerous drugs, possessing drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia.
The man was released on a verbal warning for marked lanes.
