NILES, Ohio - The future of the Gander Outdoors located at the Eastwood Mall in Niles remains uncertain. 

Joe Bell, Cafaro Company spokesman, tells 21 News that Gander Mountian company owner, Marcus Lemonis, presented a constantly changing list of stores he planned on retaining when he acquired the chain and that they have not heard anything official on the Niles location. 

As of now, Lemonis has not renewed the lease for the Niles location. That lease expires next year. 

Bell said that Lemonis plans to focus the business more on RV sales and less on hunting and fishing.

As a result, the Cafaro Company is talking with another prominent outdoor retailer about possibly taking over the location, Bell said, although nothing is finalized at this point.
