A Canfield man, who's accused of running over a trash collector while fleeing from police, has been indicted.

Brandon Ferrier, 23, faces multiple felony charges, including vehicular assault and failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer.

The charges come after two incidents in November, which were just hours apart.

First, officials say Ferrier hit a trash collector in Austintown while fleeing from a sheriff's deputy.

He then left the scene, according to police.

A trooper later spotted Ferrier in Tuscarawas County and followed him until Ferrier ended up crashing.

Ferrier was also wanted for violating his parole in Mahoning County, numerous bad checks and fraud warrants in Pennsylvania and a motor vehicle pursuit in Mill Creek MetroParks.

Those incidents happened from August to September of this year.
