YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Cases across Mahoning County continue to slow as hospitalizations stay steady. 

As of Monday, there were 28 new cases reported, bringing the total to 965. 

There is also one new death from Sunday, which now totals 84, which includes both confirmed and probable cases.

These numbers may differ from what is reported at 2 p.m. every day by the Ohio Department of Health. 

There have been no new hospitalizations and the number remains at 249.

This matches the number from the Ohio Department of Health from Sunday.

The median age for hospitalization is 70 years old. 

The median age for overall cases is 62 years old. 

The county continues to see males as 60 percent of cases, while females are 40 percent. 

Those with underlying health conditions are 99 percent of the cases and 60 percent of those were in longterm care facilities, according to Mahoning County health officials.
