Utility companies are still working Friday to restore power to 250 homes and businesses in the Valley, many of whom have been without electricity since Wednesday nights stormy weather.

In Columbiana County, which suffered the most damage caused by high winds and two tornadoes, 205 outages remained as of 4 a.m. Friday.

While repairs have been made to downed wires in Trumbull County, FirstEnergy was still reporting 38 outages in Mahoning County.

 While FirstEnergy will be working throughout the day, the company estimates that some could be without power until 11:30 pm.

Penn Power says it expects repairs to the remaining 7 outages in Mercer County to be cleared up by 10 am.
