Canfield COVID-19 survivor returns home

After 58 days in the hospital, Al Tierney was released from Mercy health after beating the coronavirus.

After 58 days in the hospital, Al Tierney was released from Mercy health after beating the coronavirus.

He also spent 23 days in rehab to regain his strength from fighting the virus.

People gathered at the Canfield High School parking lot Saturday to pass on well wishes and welcome him home.
