Crews responded to a garage fire on the 400 block of Craft Road in Mecca Township Friday afternoon.

A call came in for the fire around 2:30 p.m. 

The owner says he thinks a wood burner led to the blaze. He says he heard a popping noise and the fire began. The official cause remains under investigation. 

Tools, a lawnmower, a vehicle and other items were lost in the fire.
