Car crashes after high-speed police chase through Jamestown
The driver escaped on foot.

Authorities in Ohio and Pennsylvania are looking for a driver who led deputies on a high-speed chase that ended in a crash in Mercer County early Monday.
A sheriff’s deputy in Ashtabula County reported that a car sped away when he tried to pull it over after spotting it driving on the wrong side of Route 322 just after 4 a.m.
The pursuit, which reached speeds of 90 miles per hour, crossed the state line into Jamestown, Pennsylvania.
When the car being chased crashed at Jamestown and Murphy Roads, the driver jumped out and ran away.
At last report, the deputy, along with Jamestown and State Police were still searching for the driver.
