GROVE CITY, Pa. - A project to improve a Mercer County Road will begin Monday.
The widening and repair project on Route 173 (Liberty Street) in Grove City is expected to cause traffic delays on the road until late-August.
The project will widen the roadway from the intersection with Kocher Drive to just south of the intersection with Route 58 (Main Street). Other improvements planned are pavement and curb restorations, sidewalk and curb ramp improvements, and drainage and signing upgrades.
During the project, traffic will be controlled by flaggers.
The $2 million project is being paid for entirely with federal funds.
