Woman struck, killed crossing 224 in Boardman identified
A driver was traveling eastbound on 224 when they hit the person in the road.

BOARDMAN, Ohio - State Troopers have identified the woman killed after she was struck by a vehicle while crossing Route 224 Thursday night.
Troopers identified the woman as 55-year-old Nilsa Lascola of Boardman.
The accident closed 224 between Glenwood Avenue and Market Street for three hours.
Troopers were dispatched shortly after 9 p.m. after they said Lascola was struck by a BMW while crossing the street near Salinas Trail.
The driver of the BMW, a 22-year-old Berlin Center man, was not injured.
Drugs and alcohol are not suspected.
The crash remains under investigation and no charges have been filed at this time.
