Bullet passes through pillow as Warren man sleeps

WARREN, Ohio - A Warren man may be counting his blessings today after surviving a shot being fired through his pillows as he was sleeping.
The 25-year-old man told police he was sleeping in the bedroom of his Bonnie Brae Avenue home at around 2 a.m. Wednesday when he was wakened by a loud noise.
Unable to find the reason for the noise, he told police that he rolled over and went back to sleep.
After getting up a couple of hours later to get ready for work, the man said he discovered a hole in the room's exterior wall.
Police say he followed the trajectory of the bullet and found that it had also passed through each of his pillows and an interior wall near the bedroom door.
After calling the police, officers say they found the bullet embedded in the bathroom door frame.
