Battling through injury, Hubbard native and BMX rider Nick Bruce gave it one last go at the Tokyo Olympics on Saturday.
The 29-year old sustained an upper body injury during a practice run early in the week. An injury that forced him to cede Friday night's seeding runs.
Bruce dropped in for the first of two runs in the medal rounds, taking it easy, he scored a 24.60. He ended the run letting the bike fly and saluting those in attendance as well as family and friends watching from home.
