Murder victims, suspect identified as SWAT team raids Youngstown home

YOUNGSTOWN - Neighbors in a normally quiet area of Youngstown's west side saw a heavy law enforcement presence early Wednesday as police searched for a murder suspect.
Sherriff's deputies and city police gathered along North Bon Air Avenue near Burbank Avenue just after 7:30 a.m. Wednesday
Youngstown police surrounded a home as they searched for a suspect wanted in connection with the murder of two people along Salt Springs Road on Tuesday.
The Mahoning County Coroner on Wednesday identified the victims as 49-year-old Ayanna Mills and her 28-year-old son Brandon Bell.
Police called in an armored vehicle known as "The Bear", a Critical Response Team, and members of the Mahoning Valley Violent Crime Task Force.
Negotiators used a loudspeaker ordering the suspect to come out with his hands up and tell his "side of the story".
Shortly before 10 a.m., police entered the home. During a search, police found a squatter, two dogs, and feces piled up ankle-deep, describing the home to be in deplorable conditions. However the suspect, identified as 44-year-old Jabrae Perry, was not there.
Perry is charged with aggravated murder and complicity to aggravated murder.
Investigators are still working with relatives of the suspect, hoping to convince him to surrender.
The family of the victims are offering a 15 thousand dollar reward for information leading to Perry's arrest.
