BOARDMAN, Ohio - Summer is coming to an end and Boardman Park is going out with a bang.

Saturday, August 28 Boardman Park will be hosting an End of Summer Spectacular starting at 5:30 p.m. 

The event will be held on the Green Oasis at the Maag Outdoor Arts Theatre. 

Starting at 5:30 there will be wagon rides, a bouncer, slides and obstacle courses. 

There will be 2 bands performing throughout the event.

Gypsy Lane will be performing classic rock hits starting at 5:30 p.m. along with Mr. Balloon Man who will be providing balloon art for the kids and parents. 

Starting at 8:00 p.m. the Youngstown Area Community Concert Band will perform different folk, pop, movie tunes, and patriotic music under the direction of Joseph Pellegrini. 

Guests will need to prove their own lawn chairs and blankets. 

Phantom Fireworks will then be displaying a firework show following the Youngstown Area Community Concert Band's performance.

This is a free event and there will be food concessions available.
