Suspected arson leads to demolition of Youngstown home
1/3
A home on the West Side of Youngstown once again falls victim to suspected arson.
A house on the 400 block North Bon Air Avenue will be torn down Monday night after being engulfed in flames.
Youngstown Fire Officials believe the fire was starting purposely, and that this isn't the first time.
This same home was the location of a fire bomb back in June, after a object came through the window leading the living room to be engulfed in flames and causing a ceiling to collapse and an awning to cave in.
Fire officials also said there was reported gunshots before the fire started in June.
The house has been nothing but trouble for the neighborhood, and neighbors that 21 News spoke with are happy that the house is finally being torn down.
The Youngstown Fire Department is investigating this current fire as arson.
