Double homicide suspect transferred to Mahoning County Jail

The suspect of the double homicide on Salt Springs Rd. has been transferred from the Franklin County Jail to the Mahoning County Jail on Thursday, Sept. 9.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The suspect of the double homicide on Salt Springs Rd. has been transferred from the Franklin County Jail to the Mahoning County Jail on Thursday, Sept. 9.

Jabrae Perry (44) is charged with aggravated murder and complicity for his connection to the double homicide on Aug. 24 which took the lives of Ayanna Mills (49) and her son, Brandon bell (28).

U.S. Marshals found Perry hiding in a home in Columbus where he was arrested and placed in the Franklin County Jail.

Perry is now in the Mahoning County Jail with no bond and is under maximum security.
