Deputies say East Liverpool man dead in high speed crash

An East Liverpool man died in a weekend traffic accident in Stark County.

PARIS TWP, Stark County, Ohio - An East Liverpool man died in a weekend traffic accident in Stark County.

Sheriff’s deputies say 74-year-old William Grimm was killed just after 1 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Robertsville Avenue and Route 172 in Paris Township.

According to investigators, Grimm was driving a PT Cruiser at a high rate of speed when it failed to travel around a curve and struck a tree.
