Youngstown searching for annual downtown Christmas tree
City organizers say they prefer the tree to be a Blue Spruce, between 35-40 feet tall, although they've had trees as tall as 50 feet before.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - It's that time of year!
Communities all across the Valley are preparing for their annual Christmas events.
Youngstown is once searching for the perfect tree to be put on display in the city's downtown square.
City organizers say they prefer the tree to be a Blue Spruce, between 35-40 feet tall, although they've had trees as tall as 50 feet before.
They also prefer the donated tree to be located in someone's front yard for easy access.
The tree will be removed by the Diamond Steel Construction Company and then placed downtown.
Anyone in the Mahoning Valley that is interested in donating a tree is asked to contact the Youngstown Parks and Recreation Office at 330-742-8711.
