Stabbing investigation brings arrest in Boardman

BOARDMAN TWP., Ohio - The usual calm of a Boardman neighborhood was interrupted by flashing police and ambulance lights Saturday night as police were called to investigate two stabbings.
A 40-year-old man told dispatchers that he had been stabbed several times by his girlfriend’s son outside their home on the 7100 block of Mill Creek Drive.
Police say the man had been stabbed in the stomach, and twice in the back. His 39-year-old girlfriend was stabbed in the leg.
The woman told police that her son came out of the house after her boyfriend pushed her to the ground during an argument.
The woman said her boyfriend then pushed her 19-year-old son to the ground but didn’t remember much after that.
Police handcuffed the son, Blake Farmer, and booked him into the county jail on a charge of felonious assault where he awaits a hearing in Boardman Court on Tuesday.
