Youngstown Police investigators are calling the shooting deaths of two people early Thursday as a murder-suicide.

According to a news release from police, officers were called to the 1600 block of Everett Avenue in the city’s Brownlee Woods neighborhood shortly before 2 a.m., where they found the bodies of a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman.

Both had been shot.

Police say the coroner is investigating the incident as a murder-suicide.

The names of those involved have not been released as of 8 a.m. Thursday.
