Macy's has announced on Wednesday that it will be reducing its hours on Monday through Thursday throughout the month of January due to anticipation of staff shortages.

Stores will now open at 11:00 a.m. rather than 10:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m. rather than 9:00 p.m. 

These hours only apply Monday-Thursday. Macy's will operate at normal hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The adjusted hours are expected to last throughout the month of January.
