John Cranley explains his choice for running mate and their plan for the Mahoning Valley

Democratic gubernatorial candidate John Cranley announced Ohio state senator Teresa Fedor as his running mate for the 2022 election.
Cranley told 21 News that he chose Fedor due to her long history as a public servant. Fedor has not only served in the air force, but she was also a public educator and the longest running women in history in the general assembly.
Cranley wants to focus on a 'comeback' plan for Ohio, which would include higher paying jobs, legalization of marijuana and dividend from natural gas to help Ohioans fight inflation and pay their bills.
Cranley also chose Fedor because he believes that with Fedor as his partner, they will deliver the promises of his comeback to the state of Ohio.
For the Mahoning Valley, the pair want to bring jobs back to the area. Cranley and Fedor want to guarantee over 30,000 jobs every year with a minimum of $60,000 salary that will be available to people who did not go to college.
These jobs would include building a high speed WiFi for the whole state, fix infrastructure throughout Ohio, and focus on clean energy projects and natural gas in the Mahoning Valley.
"Teresa and I can bring a comeback, we will lift wages, guarantee jobs, legalize marijuana, and put money and put money in people's pockets. This is a vote for change, this is a vote that will bring opportunity back to the Mahoning Valley," says Cranley.
