Phone and 911 service to YSU Police restored

The school sent an alert to students and faculty at approximately 1:43 p.m. saying the planned service upgrade is now complete.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Phone and 911 services for Youngstown State University Police are back up and running after first responders at the university performed a service upgrade to their phone system Sunday morning.

The school sent an alert to students and faculty at approximately 1:43 p.m. saying the planned service upgrade is now complete.

In the event of an emergency on campus, students can call YSU Police Department at 330-941-3527.
