Ice rescue training set for Struthers park

STRUTHERS, Ohio - If you see emergency vehicles and first responder activity at a park in Struthers Tuesday night, don't be alarmed.
Officials from Millcreek Metroparks have announced that ice rescue training is scheduled to take place at Yellow Creek Park.
According to a media release from the park system, firefighters from Poland plan to conduct the training in the creek area of the park from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.
Rescue vehicles will be in the park during the training.
