Alleged road rage motorcyclist who fired gun on State Route 46 arrested

One of the two motorcyclists that allegedly pulled out and fired a gun during a road rage incident, which shut down the southbound lane of State Route 46 in Howland on Saturday, has been arrested.
Nickolas Leigh, 26, was charged with Felonious Assault, Carrying Concealed Weapons and Improperly Handling Firearms In a Motor Vehicle when he appeared in a Warren Municipal Court on Monday. He pleaded not guilty, according to court records.
Mr. Leigh was reportedly booked into the Trumbull County Jail and was released shortly after on a $2,500 bond.
No one was injured in the Saturday shooting but one motorcyclist fled the scene. Officers were able to catch up with him and take him into custody. Two suspects were taken into custody for questioning. It is unclear if Mr. Leigh was one of those people.
Mr. Leigh will appear back in Warren Municipal Court to have his case contested on May 20.
