SHARON, Pa. - Severe weather has had a major impact on the Mahoning and Shenango Valley with many trees collapsing throughout. Now one of these trees could affect your Sunday drive through Mercer County

According to Mercer County Dispatch, parts of East Connelly Boulevard on Route 62 in Sharon are blocked off due to a tree falling in the middle of the road. 

21 News crews observed that the tree has since been removed from the scene. However, road blocks still in the affected area.

Other roadways in the area such as Perry Highway have also been affected by weather-related damages shutting down roads.

Mercer County Dispatch says they are unsure of when the road will reopen due to the amount of damage the county has experienced due to the weather.
