The Grove City College class of 2022 has left their mark on the campus of their alma mater- literally.

As a parting gift, the college's most recent graduates had a series of five-foot-tall, bright red letters spelling out 'GROVE' installed near the campus's quad.

"It's a really fun addition to campus and we're already seeing it featured in social media posts," said Admissions Visit Coordinator Madalyn Gustafson. "We know our current students are excited about this latest piece of public art on campus and we expect it will be very popular with prospective students taking campus tours and anyone else who visits Grove City College and wants to document the experience."

The GROVE sign is about 28 feet wide with enough room in the center of the 'O' to sit in, making it a fun backdrop for students and other visitors to take pictures in.

The senior class gift is a yearly tradition, where seniors come together and gift GCC with something that will improve the campus or support students. Gifts over the past several years have included scholarship funding, a Wolverine mascot statue, and a half-court on the school's lower campus.
