Trumbull County Tourism is among the finalists in the 2022 Destiny and Mercury Awards in Grand Rapids Michigan.

The award ceremony is a part of the Educational Seminar for Tourism Organizations (ESTO), which will be held August 6 through 10.

The Destiny Awards recognize excellence in destination marketing efforts, while the Mercury Awards recognize achievements on the state level.

Trumbull County Tourism is no stranger to these awards. In 2021, the tourism board was the winner of the Destiny Award for Printed Collateral Material. This year, they're a finalist for that same category.

"It's an honor to be a finalist for the second year in a row. I love this opportunity to have our marketing work recognized among other larger destinations. It's a testament to the hard work and passion our team, board and partners put into promoting our 'Truly Trumbull' experiences to a larger audience," said Trumbull County Tourism Executive Director, Beth Kotwis Carmichael.

Trumbull County Tourism was the only Ohio destination to become a finalist in any category.
