Intersection to close in downtown Youngstown for crosswalk construction
The crosswalk project is expected to take three weeks to complete.

YOUNGSTOWN - More street closures are coming to downtown Youngstown.
Beginning September 6th, West Boardman Street and South Phelps intersection will close so crews can add concrete crosswalks to the ongoing SMART 2 Network construction project.
The crosswalk project is expected to take three weeks to complete.
Boardman Street will be closed to through traffic from Market to Hazel Street.
Local access to businesses and driveways will be maintained East to the west until South Phelps.
Detour traffic should use West Federal Street to avoid construction.
