Suspect in Hubbard Township homicide pleads guilty to aggravated murder, other charges

WARREN, Ohio - The suspect of a homicide in Hubbard Township from December of 2021 has pled guilty in court on Wednesday.
According to court records, 26-year-old Devonte Douglas pled guilty to charges of Aggravated Murder with firearm specifications, Abduction and Tampering With Evidence.
Douglas is accused of the shooting death of Adreionna Hasley-Crockett in December of 2021. Hasley-Crockett's body was found in a car parked at a gas well on Seifert Lewis Road.
According to 911 call logs, Hasley-Crockett's friend had allegedly been kidnapped by Douglas and taken to a house on Dogwood Lane, but was able to get back to the scene where Hasley-Crockett had been shot to call 911.
Douglas will appear in court again on Wednesday, September 28 and is scheduled to be sentenced on Monday, October 24 at 9:00 a.m. in the Trumbull County Court of Common Pleas.
