The suspect in the Hubbard Township homicide that happened Thursday has been indicted by a grand jury.

25-year-old Devonte J. Douglas was indicted Wednesday on charges of aggravated murder with a firearm specification, kidnapping with a firearm specification and tampering with evidence.

Douglas is accused of the shooting death of Adreionna Hasley-Crockett.

Hasley-Crockett's body was found shot in a car parked at a gas well site off Seifert Lewis Road around 10 a.m. on December 16.

According to dispatch logs, a woman called 911 saying her friend had been shot and she didn't think she was breathing.

The caller told dispatchers that she had been kidnapped by a man and was taken to an address on Dogwood Lane in Youngstown but was able to get to her car and drive back to the scene of the shooting, where she called 911.

Douglas was arrested in Youngstown after showing up at police headquarters attempting to release a vehicle from an impound lot.

His bond was set at $1 million Friday.
