GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is unveiling virtual plans for the Route 58 Bridge Project in Grove City.

The bridge is located on Route 58 at the intersection with Route 173 near the entrance to Grove City College.

PennDOT plans to remove the existing barriers, sidewalks, deck and beams and replace them with new prestressed beams and a reinforced concrete deck.

Work on the Route 58 bridge is expected to happen during the 2025 construction season.

The existing bridge was built back in 1967 and is rated in poor condition. It carries almost 10,000 cars per day with eight percent of those being trucks.

You can find the plans for the project here.

The plans will be viewable through November 22nd and comments can be submitted on that page.
