Public hearing on Niles annexation set for May
The Petition for Annexation proposes 31.3801 acres of land be annexed to the City of Niles.

TRUMBULL COUNTY, OH - The potential annexation of some property located in Howland and Vienna Townships is taking a step forward after Wednesday's Trumbull County Commissioner's meeting.
Commissioner Mauro Cantalamessa told 21 News the motion for a public meeting on the annexation was approved for May 22 at 10 a.m. in Warren.
The Petition for Annexation proposes 31.3801 acres of land be annexed to the City of Niles.
The owners of the property between Stillwagon Road and Route 11 are seeking annexation to access city utilities for a housing development they want to build on the land.
At least sixty people from both townships spoke in opposition to the annexation during a meeting in November.
