POLAND, Ohio - Howard Hanna Real Estate is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday at the Park Place Development in Poland at 12:30 p.m. for three new energy-efficient homes coming to the area.
Realtor, Rebekah Rouser tells 21 News the three new houses will be located on Garden Place and the prices range from $590,000 to $850,000. The homes are between 2,000 and 2,700 square feet.
Rouser says the primary market for these homes is business executives from Pennsylvania and the Cleveland areas, as well as people from neighboring communities simply moving to higher-end housing.
Relator, Jenna Koontz adds that rates have significantly dropped in the past two months, so there has been a lot more activity compared to the last quarter of 2022.
"We've seen it all. We've got buyers from the lake area in Cleveland, some buyers from Michigan and we have some local buyers too," Koontz said.
In addition, both Rouser and Koontz told us that with more people working from home, some people are relocating into the Valley to live closer to family thanks to the ability to work from wherever they want now.
Koontz added that around the spring is when chief residents commonly move out of the city, but more new residents come in thanks to job openings in fields such as the medical field.
