Two suspects in a fatal 2016 shooting in Youngstown have been indicted in the Mahoning County Court of Common Pleas on Thursday.

Both 24-year-old Ranee Fitzgerald and 25-year-old D'Aundre Turner were indicted with Fitzgerald being indicted on one count of Involuntary Manslaughter and one count of Obstructing Justice, and Turner being indicted on one count of Aggravated Murder, Murder and Aggravated Robbery all with firearm specifications.

The charges stem from a 2016 shooting near Oak Street Extension and Early Road in Youngstown that resulted in the death of 22-year-old Omar Croom.

Croom was located by police lying on the street with multiple gunshot wounds.

Fitzgerald was arrested in February of 2023 by U.S. Marshals.
