MILTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio -  A driver who rolled her car in Milton Township told dispatchers she was attempting to avoid a deer on the road.

A rescue squad was called out to Robinson Road, just south of the Trumbull County line before 6 a.m. Tuesday.

First responders were told that the woman driving was trapped inside the all-wheel-drive Lexus.  Crews had removed the driver in less than a half hour.

A State Trooper and an ambulance were on the scene.

The driver was taken to Trumbull Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries that troopers say are not life-threatening.
