Police cruisers and ambulances were called to a Boardman home early Wednesday to investigate a shooting.

A 911 caller reported that a man was bleeding at a home on the 4500 block of Euclid Boulevard at around 7:30 a.m.

Township Police Chief Todd Werth tells 21 News an adult victim was taken to a hospital.  Werth did not have information about the man's condition.

An officer on the scene told 21 News that they believe the gunshot was self-inflicted.

Four police cars, two unmarked cars, and an ambulance were seen outside the house with officers going inside.

Werth told 21 News that he did not know why a second ambulance was dispatched to the scene as well
