A Trumbull County Common Pleas Court judge is scheduled to hand down a sentence Wednesday to a Warren man convicted of raping a 12-year-old Hubbard girl.

 

Francis LaCamera was found guilty last month of nine counts of rape and one count of gross sexual imposition.

 

He was found not guilty of all 10 sexually violent predator specifications that would have added to his prison sentence.

 

The charges stem from the sexual assault of a Hubbard girl over a six-month period in 2020. She was 12 years old at that time.

 

LaCamera would face a minimum of life in prison with his first chance of parole available after 25 years.
