Looking for some scary fun to do this fall? Here are some fall and Halloween-related single day events that are happening up through Halloween. Events for kids of all ages.

Daily through October 31:

  • Ty's Pumpkin Walk, 7063 Poland Center Drive, Sunday-Thursday, 6:30-8:30 pm, Friday/Saturday, 6:30-9 pm (weather may vary times). Free bit donations accepted to help The Squeaky Wheel Theater Company Special Needs Program. Walk through and see all the carved pumpkins.

October 25

  • Trunks, Treats & Treasures, 6-7:30 pm, North Mar Church parking lot, 3855 E. Market St., Warren. For kids up to fifth grade, dress in non-scary costumes.

October 26

  • Trunk or Treat at Jefferson PK-8 School, 5-30-7:30 pm, Candy, music, prizes. Open to community. 1543 Tod Ave. SW, Warren
  • Trunk or Treat, 5:30-7:30 pm, East Side Church of Christ, 1750 Niles Rd., Warren. Candy, music, family fun

October 27

  • Monster Mash Murder, Dutch Haus Inn and Suites, Columbiana. Noon or 7 pm. Tickets are $65 each, including a catered buffet with the live performance.
  • Pumpkin Carving Party at Paladin Brewing, 6520 Mahoning Avenue, Youngstown. Free pumpkins provided by Angiuli's Farm Market. 5 pm
  • Boos and Booze Halloween Party, Drake’s Landing Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Rd., Canfield, 7-11pm. $50 per person, includes dinner and open bar. music and prize for best costume.
  • 2nd annual Frightfully Fun Fest on the Shenango: 101 Chestnut Ave., 4-7 pm. A family friendly Halloween event with hayrides, Jeepers Creepers Trunk or Treat event, music, and from 7-9 pm, an adult costume after-party.
  • Maniacs in the Woods Trunk or Treat, 2619 Hoagland Blackstub Rd., Bazetta. Dusk to 11 pm. Haunted Trail $10 per person
  • Fall Fest & Trunk or Treat, HCC Learning Center, 198 Niles Cortland Rd. SE, Warren, 6-7:30pm. Candy and prizes, food for purchase.

October 28

  • Rocky Horror Picture Show (with audience participation), Penguin City Beer, 460 E. Federal St, Youngstown, door. 2nd annual Halloween fundraiser for Rebel Rescue Ranch, a non-profit that helps small domestic and exotic animals in Ohio. Come see the haunted brewery and then watch the film in the warehouse. The event will include basket raffles, audience participation bags, and a costume contest.  Audience Participation bags are $5 (proceeds to Rebel Rescue) and tickets are $5 each. The door open for cocktail hour at 7 pm.
  • 6th Annual Youngstown Halloween Bar Crawl, 4 pm to 11 pm, 460 E. Federal St., tickets $20-$25, starts at Penguin City Brewery.
  • 2nd Annual Halloween Bash at Steel Valley Brew Works, south side of Southern Park Mall, Opens at 7 p.m., $5 cover charge, $5 to enter costume contest. Money prizes awarded to first, second and third place winners. VIP tickets, $20 each.
  • Halloween Prop Building, Youngstown Playhouse, 600 Playhouse Lane, Youngstown, 10-11:15 am. Learning how to build scary props. Ages 10 to 18. $60 per person. 
  • Halloween Fest, Bake Me treats, 16 S. Main St., Poland. 10-3 p, vendors, trick or treating at vendors, bounce house, costumes.
  • Wick Park Trail of Treats,  260 Park Ave., Youngstown. 4-7pm. Free, face-painting, candy and hayrides.
  • Maze Craze Boozy Bash, Maze Craze, 14070 Woodworth Road, New Springfield. Craft beer and wine available for purchase, $15 per person.6-11pm.
  • Trunk or Treat/Fall Fest, Niles Christian Assembly, 1-3pm, 672 North Rd, Niles
  • 5th Annual Fall Festival & Special needs/disability resource fair, Cornerhouse Christian Church, 6954 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Hubbard, noon to 3 pm. Autism Society of Mahoning Valley. Free event

October 29

  • Austintown Trunk or Treat, Austintown Township Park, 6000 Kirk Rd., 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
  • 3rd Annual Halloween Spooktacular, 16410 Irish Ridge Rd., East Liverpool. 11 am to 4 pm. Food, Craft Vendors, Chinese Auction, Magic Show, Trick-or-Treat Trail, Pony Rides, & Music.
  • 'Pandora's Box' silent film, Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. Live organ, 2:30pm. Tickets $7 each plus $3 service fee.
  • Trunk or Treat Car Show, 2261 Youngstown Rd. SE, Warren from 6-9 pm

October 29-31

  • Trick-or-Treat PAWS, 3265 Canfield Road, Cornersburg, and 112 S Main Street, Columbiana. Noon to 6 pm. Treats for pets in costumes and for kids too.

October 31

  • Harvest Fest Outreach, 5-7 pm, Leavittsburg First Church of the Nazarene, 4175 Pendelton Rd, Leavittsburg. Hot Dogs, chips, hot or cold drink and candy.

October 21, 22 and 27, 28, 29

  • Nightmare at The Canfield Scaregrounds, opens at 7 pm. Price varies from $10 to $65 per ticket. 7353 Fairground Blvd., Canfield
  • Nightmare in Boardman at Debartolo Commons, 7401 Market St, Youngstown, opens at 7 pm. Tickets start at $10.
