The San Francisco 49ers,  owned by the Youngstown-based DeBartolo Family, are playing in their 19th conference championship game Sunday against Detroit with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line.

Edward DeBartolo Sr. bought the franchise in 1977, and the current co-chairmen are Denise DeBartolo York & Dr. John York.  Their son, Jed, runs the day-to-day operations in Santa Clara, California.

The display,  "A Legacy of Winning,"  at Southern Park, takes a look back at the history of the DeBartolo Family & the 49ers.

It includes memorabilia from past Super Bowls, autograph jerseys, and championship rings.

Just across the street on Market Street in Boardman is the DeBartolo Headquarters, with the 49ers logo proudly displayed on the outside.

The display inside the mall is open during regular mall hours.
