Firefighters from Struthers and Campbell Fire responded to a house fire on Gordon Street in Campbell around 1 a.m. Monday.

Firefighters say the fire began in the kitchen and that the home's first floor sustained significant smoke damage.

No injuries were reported. Crews say the house's residents were not home at the time of the fire.

The cause is under investigation.
