21 teens to receive 'Eagle of the Cross' award
The Diocese of Youngstown will be awarded 21 teens with the Eagle of the Cross Award.
It's the highest honor the Diocese can give to their youth, and was created by the national Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry 25 years ago.
Each year it is given to a group of high school juniors and seniors who show dedication, integrity, and model the values of the Church.
Rev. David J. Bonnar will present the awards Tuesday, April 30 at Saint Columba Cathedral in Youngstown. After the ceremony, a reception will take place in Saint Columba Hall.
