A $2.1 million resurfacing project is set to begin this month that will span seven miles through Springfield, Findlay and East Lackawannock townships.

The project spans seven miles from the intersection of Route 208 near the Grove City Outlet Mall to the intersection with Hope Mill Road in Mercer County.

Work will also include roadway base layer repairs and updates to drainage, guiderail, median traffic delineators, tree trimming and pavement markings, according to a new release from PennDOT.

Construction is expected to begin April 29 and is expected to wrap in July.

PennDOT's Northwest region is expected to work on more than 100 projects this year. To see a full list, click here.
