The Salem Regional Medical Center (SRMC) is hosting a seminar for women of all ages to learn about health strategies to help mom stay healthy.

The "Mom's Health Matters" seminar is free and will feature SRMC-affiliated physicians and health care professionals who will discuss health topics of special interest to mothers and those who love them, according to a news release from the SRMC.

It will be held at the newly opened SRMC Surgery & Outpatient Pavilion on Thursday May 9 beginning at 6 p.m.

During the event, those in attendance will be able to tour the Advanced Radiology Center and learn about its 3-D mammography screening, DEXA scans and other medical imaging technologies.

Joseph Miladore, a doctor of Family Medicine will discuss the importance of screenings, exercise and nutrition.

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon Linda Camp, will also discuss ways to enhance a woman's appearance and well-being.

Seminar participants will be eligible for a drawing for a free facial, compliments of SRMC Plastic Surgery.
