Fire departments from several communities worked Friday morning battling a two-alarm fire at a Mercer County pie shop.

Dispatchers received a call at around 10 a.m. Friday flames were showing from the Country Pie Shop at 341 Stony Hill Road in Shenango Township.

The first firefighter to arrive reported that flames had spread throughout the small, wooden building behind a home.

The fire gutted the business. There have been no reports of injuries.

A post on social media by the owners says, "We lost the Country Pie Shop today. We came home from shopping to find smoke and flames billowing out of the building. We are devastated."

The PA. State Fire Marshall is investigating to determine the cause of the fire.

Owners of Country Pie Shop told 21 News they plan to rebuild as soon as possible.
