A couple out of Braceville was arraigned on child endangering charges Tuesday and Wednesday after police say their dog attacked a toddler.

Both 26-year-old Jonah Fisher and 26-year-old Destany Myers pled not guilty to two counts each of endangering children with Fisher being arraigned Tuesday and Myers being arraigned Wednesday.

Bond for both suspects was set at $2,500 cash surety.

The charges stem from an incident where a two-year-old was left alone in a room with a dog that police say the couple knew was dangerous because it had previously been quarantined for biting someone.

Police say the child needed emergency medical treatment for her injuries stemming from the attack.

Police also say the living conditions of the home were unsanitary to the point of being a health hazard.

Fisher is due back in court on July 9. Court records do not show another date for Myers at this time.
