Canfield junior Charlie Boris has been selected to represent the Midwest on the All America Lacrosse team for a second year in a row.

For the last 18 years, the All America Lacrosse Tournament has helped showcase some of the top lacrosse talent in the nation in front of the best college programs in the country. Each division competed within itself at the tryouts and those players are selected by an evaluation team. Once selected, the teams travel to the main event to determine which region is the best.

Charlie Boris competed against the best of the best in a 16 state region, coming out on top as a Faceoff/Mid field player for the class of 2026. He racked up 48 goals, 17 assists,  and 102 ground balls during his sophomore season at Canfield High School, ranking him one of the top 5 sophomore lacrosse players in the state of Ohio, with a faceoff win percentage of 78.34 %. Boris also plays on Spiders Lacrosse, an elite travel team based out of Hudson, Ohio.

Charlie was named 2024 2nd Team All-Region Honors, attended the invitation only 2024 Black Card. He was also selected to the 2024 ECD All-American Showcase All-Star team in Baltimore, MD.

Canfield’s head lacrosse coach Dylan Ciolino added, “Congratulations to Charlie Boris on making the Midwest All America team. The coaching staff and I are proud of all the hard work you put in and are excited to have you represent the Canfield Lacrosse program on the national stage.”

The All America Lacrosse tournament will kick off on July 26th in Columbia, Maryland, showcasing the undisputed collection of North America’s lacrosse elite.
