White Sox cut the deficit to one, but then Nick Gonzales batted in two more run for Pittsburgh. Pirates pickup the sweep over the White Sox winning the final game 9-4.
Pirates enter the All-Star break in third place of the NL Central division. You can see both of the Pirates All-Stars compete in this years All-Star game on July 16th with the first pitch being at 8pm. Rookie pitcher Paul Skenes will get the start for the National League team.
