MAHONING COUNTY, Ohio - Mahoning County Public Health (MCPH) will be holding several flu shot clinics at various locations throughout the county throughout the fall.

There is no appointment necessary to attend these clinics. Those who attend are asked to bring their insurance cards, driver's license and Medicaid or Medicare card. Most private insurances are accepted.

Additionally, MCPH has limited opportunities for children who are uninsured or underinsured to receive their shot free of charge.

- Monday, September 30 at Canfield United Methodist Church from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

- Friday, October 4 at the Austintown Senior Center from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

- Friday, October 4 at the Community Literacy Workforce in Lowellville from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

- Friday, October 4 at Woodworth Park in Beaver Township from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

- Monday, October 7 at the Poland Township Administration Building from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

- Wednesday, October 9 at the Weidenmier House in Berlin Township from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

- Wednesday, October 9 at the Boardman United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

- Thursday, October 10 at Mahoning County Public Health from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

- Friday, October 11 at the Green Township Community Building from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

- Wednesday, October 16 at Mauthe Park in Struthers from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

- Thursday, October 17 at Mahoning County Public Health from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

- Wednesday, October 23 at the Boardman Township Building from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

- Thursday, October 24 at Mahoning County Public Health from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

- Tuesday, October 30 at the Sebring Administration Building from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

- Monday, November 4 at the Georgeanna Parker Activity Center at Boardman Park from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

- Thursday, November 7 at Mahoning County Public Health from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Everyone aged six months old or older is recommended to get a flu shot every season.
