After six attempts, suspect arraigned for allegedly beating Warren nurse

WARREN, Ohio - Authorities in Warren finally held a video arraignment on Monday for a man accused of beating a pregnant nurse at Trumbull Regional Medical Center.
Roge Berger, 35, of Youngstown, pleaded "not guilty" in Warren Municipal Court to charges of aggravated robbery and felonious assault.
Every day last week, Berger refused to come out of his cell at the Trumbull County Jail to appear before a camera for video arraignment. Berger also refused to go to the jail booking office to have a mugshot taken until this past weekend.
Berger is accused of slamming a pregnant nurse into her car followed by grabbing her by the hair and punching her in the face over 20 times.
Another hearing is scheduled for Berger on Tuesday.
